USAID DCHA Institutional Support Services IQC

Macfadden manages a $135 million institutional support contract at USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), with over 100 employees in Washington, D.C. and overseas—a contract we have held since 1993.  We provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support; grants management; program impact assessments, information management; field support (travel, procurement, communications and personnel support); and Personal Service Contract recruitment and management.  Since 2006, we have successfully managed contract expansion from $80 million to over $135 million, supporting 23 Task Orders.


U.S. Coast Guard C4IT Service Center Asset Logistics Division  BPA

Macfadden holds a five year, $9.9 million Blanket Purchase Agreement at the Coast Guard Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Information Technology (C4IT) Service Center's Asset Logistics Division (ALD).  Our financial analysts provide support for financial management, audit preparation and remediation, property management and technical writing.  At ALD, we empower our staff to drive innovation and solve problems, resulting in improvements including standardized process guides and faster, easier to use data-gathering tools.


FDA Enterprise System Life Cycle Management Support IDIQ

Macfadden is a prime small business contractor under the FDA  Enterprise System Life Cycle Management Support (ELMS) IDIQ, providing IT support services for FDA’s automated systems and business application software.  During our 20+ years at the FDA, Macfadden has managed multiple task orders supporting FDA-wide and Center-specific mission-critical IT systems.  Currently at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) we manage operations and maintenance activities and coordinate software deployments and releases for the Automated Drug Information Management System (ADIMS). On this and other ELMS Task Orders, Macfadden provides contract management and high-level reporting to facilitate coordination with our subcontractors and ensure compliance with ELMS requirements. 


USAID DCHA Grants Management

Macfadden manages the full life cycle of grants from pre-award audits to post-award monitoring and administration for USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), Office of Food for Peace (FFP), and Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) within the DCHA Bureau. In FY 2011, Macfadden processed 655 actions and obligated $796 million on behalf of USAID.  Our streamlined approach processes a large volume of grants quickly while emphasizing quality control and compliance.  We develop grant guidelines and templates, and support post-award audit preparation. The result is a high-quality response to requests for action with a sterling record of reviews from our clients and zero audit discrepancies.
