2005:
Macfadden awarded FDA-wide $16.5 million sole-source Blanket Purchase Agreement to further FDA mission objectives in the area of data management, enterprise search and system security.
2004:
Jim Macfadden sells 35% of equity to Macfadden's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to initiate founder exit while creating shareholder equity.
Macfadden re-brands itself and adopts tagline, "Delivering Results. Exceeding Expectations."
Jim Macfadden names Russell Hall as CEO.

1992:
Macfadden receives contract from the U.S. Department of State, supporting the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

1991:
Macfadden receives its first prime contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), supporting the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) with grants management support.
1989:
Macfadden receives Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program certification to assist small businesses owned, controlled and operated by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals by providing management, technical, financial and federal contracting assistance with the aim of helping these entrepreneurs create viable businesses.

With Records Management Systems, provides support to the Office of Aviation Safety at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
1986:
Deaf businessman, James R. Macfadden, founds Macfadden & Associates, Inc. and locates headquarters and operations in Silver Spring, MD. Macfadden begins as a small disadvantaged business focused on providing automated data processing support to the federal government.
Macfadden is awarded its first contract with Records Management Systems supporting Booz Allen Hamilton at General Services Administration.
