GSA Millennia

General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service (FTS), the Office of Information Technology Integration (OITI) has the mission to improve the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of Information Technology (IT) by providing a source of fee for service technical expertise for the government. GSA Millennia includes a broad scope of IT services including new and emerging technologies. The scope of support to be provided under Millennia is intended to cover all requirements for "Information Technology," including computers, ancillary equipment, software, firmware and similar procedures, services (including support services), and related resources. Specifically, GSA Millennia was created to provide three main types of IT services:
  • Communications - Definition, design, implementation, and management of digital and integrated or linked communications systems.


  • Software Engineering - Managing software from initial conception and planning, through design and development, to conversion, maintenance and improvement.


  • Systems Integration - All activities needed to develop and initiate automated information system.
The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Millennia Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) program fulfills the federal government’s demand for large system integration and development projects by providing Information Technology (IT) services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Hardware, software and services may be purchased through GWACs as part of a total technology solution. Task orders placed against GWACs may be customized to meet the full range of IT service solutions, including, but not limited to:
  • Service/product integration
  • Systems integration
  • Systems operation and management
  • Software engineering management
  • Communications
  • Information systems engineering
  • Information systems security services
  • Network/management telecommunications
  • Web enabled solutions

Our intrinsic knowledge and understanding of foreign policy and knowledgeable regional policy experts support grants administration, security and law enforcement, economic development, program management and logistical support to ensure medical equipment, emergency cargo and supplies reach designated countries.

Through our work with the DOS, Macfadden has helped EUR/ACE become a model of efficiency in the U.S. government, with a ten to one ratio of delivered commodity value to operational costs. While helping relieve suffering in isolated populations throughout Eurasia, more than $162 million in assistance has been delivered through this program.
