U.S. Coast Guard - Finance Center (USCG)
Macfadden has supported the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Finance Center in its mission to process the financial transactions of the USCG for more than 20 years. Our personnel have provided crucial expertise during the USCG's transition from the previous U.S. Department of Transportation Departmental Accounting and Financial Information System (DAFIS) core accounting system to the new Coast Guard Core Accounting System (CAS), based on Oracle Federal Financials.
The transition has significantly improved and enhanced the USCG Finance Center's ability to maintain and track financial transactions for one of the largest agencies in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In addition, our team has been a key factor in enabling the USCG to provide financial transaction support to additional DHS agencies, such as the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
We continue to provide various types of Software Development Lifecycle Support (SLDC) essential to the integration of new applications with the Oracle Federal Financials system.
