Macfadden is committed to conducting business in a socially responsible way, respectful to the environment, and contributing to our community. Macfadden’s corporate office uses only recycled products and strictly enforces recycling of all appropriate materials. Currently, Macfadden is moving towards a paperless environment and in the process of archiving all files into electronic form to reduce paper use.
Macfadden encourages the use of public transportation with flexible public transportation spending accounts for all of our employees. Macfadden’s headquarters, USAID office, and most of our clients’ offices are located within walking distance of the Washington, DC metro rail. This reduces fuel use, consumption, and pollution.
We hope that our environmentally conscious business practices will help achieve our goal of environmental preservation for the generations to come.
We are committed to supporting and encouraging community development at both the corporate level and as individual employees. Our dedicated employees proudly embrace an active role in our communities and give generously their time, money and spirit to numerous community organizations and associations.
