Helen Mitchell Named Senior Program Director of Enterprise Solutions at Macfadden
Macfadden announced today that Helen Mitchell has joined Macfadden as Senior Program Director of Enterprise Solutions. In this position, Mitchell will lead ongoing efforts to extend and expand Macfadden’s current line of enterprise-wide business solutions, enhancing the company’s ability to support the information management, application integration and business needs of its clients.

Don L. Rondeau Joins Macfadden as Senior Vice President of Critical Infrastructure Programs
Macfadden announced today that Don L. Rondeau has joined the company in the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Critical Infrastructure Programs. In his role, Mr. Rondeau will focus on developing new business opportunities in the homeland security arena focusing on transportation safety, asset protection, contingency planning and conflict mitigation.

Macfadden Completes Acquisition of Systems Integration Group, Inc. (SIG)
Macfadden and Associates, Inc. (Macfadden) and Systems Integration Group, Inc. (SIG) announced today that both companies have finalized an agreement under which Macfadden, an employee-owned company, has acquired SIG, a leading provider of professional, engineering and information support services to the federal and commercial markets.

Since 1993, Macfadden has aided the Office of the Coordinator of U.S. Assistance for Europe and Eurasia (EUR/ACE), U.S. Department of State in assisting governments in transition, managing humanitarian assistance and shaping public policy for governments in transition and enabling economic development. Our intrinsic knowledge and understanding of foreign policy and knowledgeable regional policy experts support grants administration, security and law enforcement, economic development, program management and logistical support to ensure medical equipment, emergency cargo and supplies reach designated countries.
Through our work with the DOS, Macfadden has helped EUR/ACE become a model of efficiency in the U.S. government, with a ten to one ratio of delivered commodity value to operational costs. While helping relieve suffering in isolated populations throughout Eurasia, more than $162 million in assistance has been delivered through this program.
