Macfadden's clients are federal agencies tasked with protecting the safety and security of people, information and critical infrastructure. We work with our clients to develop long-term solutions and strategies that meet their objectives and we believe the length of our client relationships is the best measure of our success and many of our current client relationships have been in place for over a decade. We have served 25 percent of our clients for more than 10 years, 42 percent for 6-10 years and 18 percent for 3-5 years. U.S. Agency for International Development
As the principal humanitarian assistance contractor to USAID's Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), Macfadden has supported USAID in its response to more than 700 global disasters and complex emergencies. Macfadden coordinates international disaster response management and humanitarian assistance by providing project management and operations support, crisis communications, rapid recruitment, training and deployment services, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support.
U.S. Coast Guard
Supporting the USCG Finance Center (FINCEN), Macfadden provides financial program management, technical and project management support and has played a key role in the USCG's transition to the Oracle Federal Financials-based Core Accounting System (CAS) which has resulted in an improved ability to maintain and track financial transactions. Macfadden provides general accounting support as part of the USCG's major Financial Management Transformation Project, designed to create world-class accounting, business information, and financial processes. Providing ongoing security support to USCG Security Center (SECCEN), Macfadden played a key role in the development and deployment of the Electronic Fingerprint Transaction System (EFTS), a biometric screening and identity solution.

U.S. Department of Agriculture
Macfadden has provided digital conversion services for the National Agricultural Library at the U.S. Department of Agriculture for more than 12 years. The source documents for this project included monographs, scientific papers, brochures, pamphlets, watercolor paintings, black-and-white photographic prints, 35mm color slides, 16mm movie film and VHS videotape.
U.S. Department of the Interior
Working under task order awards from the National Park Service's (NPS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Macfadden provides Information Technology (IT) support services for the Project Management Information System and the Operations Formulation System, both of which are essential to the budget formulation process under the Office of the Comptroller. In addition, Macfadden provides long-range planning, analytical, and administrative support services for the Park Facility Management Division and digital conversion services for the National Register of Historic Places.
U.S. Department of State
With a proven history of supporting countries in transition, Macfadden provides humanitarian assistance and foreign policy implementation services to the Office of the Coordinator for U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia (EUR/ACE). In addition to supporting the Department of State's Operation Provide Hope, which has flown nearly 1,000 airlift missions, our services have included program evaluation performance monitoring, security and law enforcement assistance coordination, country assistance, and support for regional initiatives in Eastern Europe and Eurasia.

U.S. Department of the Treasury
Macfadden designed, developed and deployed an award-winning Integrated Document Management System (IDMS) to support the Treasury Offset Program (TOP) currently in use throughout the Financial Management Service (FMS). With Macfadden's technical support, IDMS is being expanded to support a more comprehensive nationwide debt collection initiative within FMS.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Macfadden provides document and data management services related to the registration of pesticide products and the approval of pesticide labeling information for the EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP). Macfadden also supports the operation of OPP's Information Services Center, which is the repository for historical pesticide registration records.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration
On behalf of the FDA, Macfadden has built and supported many of the FDA's mission critical information management applications and databases. Information Technology (IT) services provided include full life cycle software development, systems integration, enterprise search, systems operations and maintenance, project management and information assurance. Working with many of the FDA's key databases, Macfadden has played an important role in making FDA data transparent and readily available to key stakeholders and decision-makers.


Macfadden continues to support emergency preparedness efforts as a part of USAID's Stamping Out Pandemic and Avian Influenza (STOP AI) team.
